Richa Aggarwal, MD, is a double board-certified psychiatrist with more than 15 years of experience She provides passionate and evidence-based psychiatric medication management and psychotherapy services to children, adolescents, and adults.

Dr. Aggarwal specializes in eating disorder and autism spectrum disorder. She earned her residency in psychiatry at the Penn State Milton S. Hershey Medical Center, where she also completed her child and adolescent psychiatry fellowship. She held several clinical and administrative roles over the years. She is involved in academics as she believes in giving back to community. Her expertise in eating disorder helped her to train resident physicians from MCW in eating disorder and was awarded with best teaching award in 2024.

Dr. Aggarwal contributed and published studies on topics that include bipolar disorder, autism spectrum disorders, anorexia nervosa, and suicidal ideations. She hold positions at various boards in the community.

In her free time, she enjoys cooking, gardening, playing board games and hiking with her family. She also teaches Punjabi folk dance aka ‘ Bhangra’ in her free time. She has dog named ‘fluffy’ who open doors like humans.
